For Singapore Primary Science tuition centres and teachers · P3–P6

Know what every student missed.Teach what matters next.

Written Science answers reveal more than a mark, but reading every answer and turning it into the next teaching step takes time. SciStride brings together assessment, AI-assisted first-pass marking, teacher review and focused practice, so your team can see the ideas students have missed and respond with purpose.

Teacher-controlled markingClass insight across checksIndependent, syllabus-aligned P3–P6 resource

AI-assisted marking is available in enabled accounts. Teachers confirm or change each marking point and decide when results are released.

By-question markingDemo data
Teacher marking: Drew’s answer is checked against three science points. The teacher can change each point, choose a saved comment, select shared feedback or a staff note, and Save and next.
AI suggests which science points the answer meets. The teacher confirms or changes each one, picks the feedback to share and decides what to release.

The question after every check

A mark tells you how a student did. A missing idea tells you what to teach.

Your class finishes a Science check. Some students get the question right; others lose marks for different reasons. What should you reteach tomorrow, and to whom? SciStride makes the evidence easier to find, without taking the decision away from the teacher.

One answer, reviewed by the teacher

See the science behind a written answer.

Each written answer is checked against the science marking points for that question. The teacher sees which idea was recognised, which is still missing, and what to do about it.

One answer can show a missing idea. Patterns across several checks help reveal what the class needs next.

From assessment to teaching action

One connected routine, from the check to the next lesson.

Preparation, marking and follow-up stay in one place, so the evidence from one check shapes the next lesson instead of sitting in a pile of papers.

  1. 01 / PREPARE

Prepare work that fits the lesson.

Choose topics, question counts and a mix of MCQ and written answers. Preview or swap questions; build a topic check or a longer multi-topic paper.

  2. 02 / ASSIGN

Set it online or on paper.

Set classwork, homework or a timed test, and share it by number, link or QR code. Print papers and marking schemes when paper fits better.

  3. 03 / REVIEW

    Review with your own judgement.

Start from an AI-assisted point-by-point first pass where enabled. Review by question, change decisions, reuse comments and control the release of results.

  4. 04 / SEE THE GAPS

    See recurring gaps.

Class insight brings repeated missing ideas into view across checks, so you can choose what to reteach rather than rely on totals alone.

  5. 05 / FOLLOW UP

Give the next practice a purpose.

Set focused practice on the ideas each student missed, with lessons and Science Lab activities to revisit them. Later checks show whether it stuck.

Class insight

Same class.
Different sticking points.

Another identical worksheet can miss what each student needs. Class insight connects recurring gaps to focused practice, so you can follow up without piecing the story together from separate papers.

Support that fits the gap: condensation for Alex and Robin; evaporation for Jamie.

Practice queueDemo data
Class insight practice queue: Alex and Robin need condensation practice, while Jamie needs evaporation practice. A button sets focus practice for all three, and Alex’s earlier practice is marked started.
The queue suggests who needs which idea; the teacher sets the practice. It uses evidence from at least two checks. Concept figures show marking points earned out of possible.

Designed for teachers. Practical for centres.

Built for the way a centre teaches Science.

The tools around the check matter as much as the marking: papers, co-markers, records and the right access for each person in your centre.

For your teaching team

Less assembling. More teaching.

  • Question sets by topic, saved for yourself or your centre
  • Multi-topic papers with sections and balanced versions
  • By-question review with saved comments
  • Co-marking and extra time for individual students
  • Printable papers and marking schemes, or PDFs from the browser
  • Marks download in Excel
For the centre

The right access for each person.

  • Teacher, admin, student and parent roles within your centre
  • Students and parents linked to the right teachers
  • Access resets and the AI marking allowance in one place
  • Your own questions and lesson sections, private to your centre
  • Your centre’s accounts and work never mix with another organisation’s
For students and families

The follow-up continues at home.

  • Visual P3–P6 lessons and Science Lab activities
  • Thousands of MCQ and written practice questions
  • Released feedback that names the missing idea
  • Parents see released work with the teacher’s advice

What students and families see

Science to see, try
and explain.

From magnets and life cycles to circuits, forces and adaptations: visual lessons and practice questions give the follow-up somewhere to go. Four familiar steps lead through each topic.

1 · LEARN THE IDEAS

Make the invisible visible.

Labelled diagrams, pictures and clear explanations bring the science into focus. Chinese word hints help with unfamiliar vocabulary.

2 · SEE EXAMPLES

Follow the thinking.

Worked explanations, model answers and fair-test examples show how to use the idea.

3 · SCIENCE LAB

Predict, try and observe.

Interactive activities connect what happens with the science behind it.

4 · PRACTICE QUESTIONS

Turn “I know it” into “I can explain it.”

MCQ and written questions put the idea to work. Fresh checks and focused retests make another attempt purposeful.

For parents

The teacher’s advice,
beside the missing idea.

Review together puts a child’s released answer next to the teacher’s comment, so revision at home starts with a useful conversation instead of checking everything again.

A clear focus for tonight: Alex understands heat loss. Condensation is the idea to talk through next.

Review togetherDemo data
Review together: Alex’s first answer meets two of three marking points. The teacher asks Alex to explain that water vapour condenses into liquid droplets, with an option to improve the answer together.
A focused crop of the parent view. Linked parents see only work the teacher has released.

Trust matters in education

AI assists. Teachers decide.

Science marking involves judgement, and your teachers remain responsible for it. These limits are part of the product, not small print.

Teacher review

Teachers confirm or change each marking point and control the release of assigned work. Students may request a review; a teacher or admin makes the final decision.

Where AI marking is available

AI-assisted written marking runs only in enabled accounts and while the configured service is available. Otherwise independent practice uses self-marking, as the free guest lesson does.

Each organisation kept apart

Teachers see their classes and linked students, and parents their own children; admins manage people and links within their own school, centre or family. Schools, centres and families do not combine.

Transparent AI input

Where enabled, the written response, question, model answer and marking points are sent to the configured AI service for assessment.

Syllabus context: aligned to Singapore’s Primary Science Syllabus 2023 as an independent resource, not an official MOE publication.

See it with your centre’s work

See whether SciStride fits your centre.

Tell us about your centre. We can show how a teacher prepares a check, reviews a written answer, explores recurring class gaps and sets focused follow-up practice, using a typical Science lesson or check.

We can also talk through setup, which features are enabled, how SciStride works alongside your existing materials, and the account options available.

Before you ask

Frequently asked questions.

Anything else, just ask us.

Does SciStride replace our teachers’ marking?

No. AI assistance gives a first pass where enabled and available. Teachers can review and change each marking-point decision and control when assigned work and model answers are released. Students can request a review, which a teacher or admin decides.

Can we prepare paper-based assessments?

Yes. Build multi-topic papers with sections and balanced versions, print question papers and teacher marking schemes, or save them as PDFs through your browser. Co-marking, individual extra time and Excel marks downloads help with the work around the test. Controlled tests are not a secure exam browser; supervision stays with the teacher.

Can we use our existing worksheets?

SciStride comes with its own P3–P6 Science lessons and thousands of questions. Admins can also add your centre’s own questions to a private question bank, from a spreadsheet or one at a time. Ask us how it can work alongside your own teaching materials.

How do we begin with our classes?

Contact us. We’ll talk through your teaching workflow, the account options available and a sensible way to try SciStride with your classes.

What can we try without an account?

The free P3 Magnets sample includes the lesson, Science Lab and a 20-question check. MCQs are checked automatically; written responses are self-marked. Guest work is not saved to an account.

How do you look after children’s data?

Student accounts sit inside their own school, centre or family and are never public. A child under 13 needs a parent’s or guardian’s consent before an account is created; for a centre’s students, the centre obtains that consent and SciStride handles the data on its behalf. Names are not sent to the AI marking service. Read the Privacy Notice.

Who owns the questions and lessons?

SciStride writes its own questions and lessons. They follow the syllabus topics but do not copy textbooks or exam papers. Questions your centre adds stay private to your centre, and you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them. If you believe something on SciStride uses your work without permission, contact us and we will review it and remove it where needed.

Is SciStride part of MOE?

No. SciStride is an independent learning resource aligned to Singapore’s Primary Science Syllabus 2023. It is not an official MOE publication.

We’re a family, not a centre. Can we use SciStride?

Yes. Ask us about family access. Parents see their linked children’s work and released teacher feedback within their own family.
